Open Day Success

We’d like to thank and congratulate everyone that made our open day a success. With an enormous amount of hard work and preparation from participants, volunteers and staff we had a fantastic time showing almost 90 visitors through YES HQ!

Participants were confident and keen to showcase some of the skills that they’ve been fine tuning while taking part in YES, from customer service and retail skills to candle making, jewellery making and painting.

Some visitors treated themselves to a YES product from the market stall, but out of the number of products YES creates including handmade soap, natural lip balm, Tasmanian timber cheese boards and polymer clay jewellery, the scented candles proved to be the favourite!

A number of information sessions were held throughout the day and we hope our visitors were able to leave with a better understanding of how YES works.
