Gagebrook Primary School FAST Graduation

Last week saw the end of the 8 week FAST cycle held at Gagebrook Primary School.

Seven enthusiastic families who all participated in family-strengthening activities were awarded their FAST Graduation certificates in front of extended family and special guests. The 24 children enjoyed a visit from Santa, organised by the parents.

Gagebrook PS Parents and Friends cooked a delicious BBQ to help the celebrations.

The FAST Gagebrook Team included representatives from school, parents and Red Cross, who received training and support to build this highly successful and enjoyable activity. Focussing on the importance of a happy and safe childhood, FAST strengthens opportunities for parents to grow their relationships within family, amongst families, and within the broader school and community space in a fun and relaxed setting.

Impact Communities would like to congratulate all families, team members and volunteers on the achievement of completing a wonderful eight week program, and thanks to all for their involvement and commitment to FAST.

While it was sad to finish up, we now look forward to supporting the ongoing social networks and activities of Gagebrook FAST families through the subsequent 2 year FASTWORKS program.
