The newly formed FAST Australia Alliance and the licencing agreement with F&ST Incorporated was launched at Darwin Parliament House last week. Minster for Education NT, the Honourable Eva Lawler, hosted the event. This alliance between Impact Communities (TAS), NT Christian Schools (NT) and Clan Midland (WA) was established to strengthen and coordinate the delivery of FAST across Australia.
As a part of the Darwin visit a two day conference was held which brought together FAST representatives from around the country. Carol Goedken, CEO of F&ST Inc., and Cindy Janechek, an advanced trainer/supervisor from the US, spent these days with us to strengthen FAST across the country.
The conference was for current trainers, trainers seeking recertification and those becoming new FAST trainers, and FAST Coordinators.
Attendees were updated with all the latest nationally and internationally, and participated in learning, sharing and training with others so we can continue to see FAST advance in Australia.
